VENTURA, CA - The Bakersfield College women's cross country team traveled to Arroyo Park Verde and finished second overall with 45 points, just behind Canyons (36).

Freshman Sofia Moody led the way with a strong third-place finish in 21:46.3, followed by sophomore Mia Leisenfelderin eighth at 22:43.9. Freshman Addyson Eggers added a 14th-place finish (23:20.4), while freshmen Ashley Pitter (20th, 24:22.8) and Daniela Garcia (21st, 24:33.5) rounded out the scoring five.

Also competing for the Renegades were Alexis Lopez (26th, 25:23.3), Jennifer Salinas (27th, 25:41.2), Valerie Blanks(30th, 26:11.5), Jadyn Boston (38th, 28:21.9), Erica Snyder (42nd, 29:42.9), and April Olaya (43rd, 30:05.7).
