Matt Moon

Coach Moon is in his 8th year leading the Renegade swimming program.

Prior to arriving at BC, he was a graduate assistant swim coach at Union College (KY) from 2010-2012.

Coach Moon attended both Cal State Bakersfield, Taft College and Bakersfield College as a student before transferring to the University of the Cumberlands, where he received his B.S. Exercise Sports Science with a minor in Public Health in 2010. He then received an M.A. in Health and Physical Education from Union College in 2012.

During his collegiate swim career he was named a CCCAA All American in the 100 Breaststroke/200 Breaststroke (2008), an NAIA All American Honorable Mention in the 200 Medley Relay/400 Medley Relay (2009), an NAIA All American Honorable Mention in the 100 Breaststroke/ 200 Medley Relay/400 Medley Relay (2010) and an NAIA Academic All American (2010).

In 2014, he was named Western State Conference (WSC) Women’s Coach of the Year after the women’s swim team took the WSC Championship in the same year. The next year, 2015, he received the WSC Men’s Coach of the Year honor.
