Whittier, CA - The Renegade Wrestling team traveled to the Southern Regional Tournament hosted by Rio Hondo College on Saturday, Dec. 1. As a team they placed fourth and qualified nine wrestlers for next week's CCCAA State Championships.

The list of individual qualifiers for the State Championships include:

125 lb. - Marcus Hutcherson 1st place

125 lb. - Keithen Estrada 4th place

133 lb. - Jared Callison 6th place

141 lb. - Izaiah Ozuna 5th place

149 lb. - Emmett Kuntz 5th place

165 lb. - Kevin Mello 6th place

184 lb. - Jeremy Maas 6th place

197 lb. - Adrian Godinez 2nd place

Heavyweight - Jacob Hall 2nd place

At 141 lb. - Alexis Becerra placed 7th and will be an alternanet. 

The 2018 CCCAA Wrestling State Championships will be this coming Friday 12/7 and Saturday 12/8 at Cerritos College. For more information on the tournament, visit this link.
