Bakersfield, CA - The Renegade wrestling team earned their way to a sixth place finish at the California Community College Wrestling Finals this last year. With the close of the 2018-19 academic year the team has also had four wrestlers named to the Academic All-American team.

The four include:

Josiah Quiroz (East HS) - GPA 3.00

Kevin Mello (North HS) - GPA 3.22

Emmett Kuntz (Highland HS) - GPA 3.25

Marcus Hutcherson (West HS) - GPA 3.33

These four are the first Renegades to be named to the Academic All-American team since the 2015-16 school year when four Renegade were named to the team.
