BAKERSFIELD, CA - Renegade Athletics is proud to announce the second week of Athletes of the Week, this week’s (3/15-3/21):

Zaila Clark (Freshman) Women's Track and Field

Zaila Clark took second at the Redlands invitation in the triple jump with a mark of 10.70 and got the B standard.  That jump ranks her 8^th in the state in the triple jump. She placed 7th out of 19th women in the long jump.  

Nathan Kwon (Freshman) Men's Tennis

This past weekend at the first annual Pfister Cup that BC hosted, Nathan competed in singles and doubles. Over seven teams from Northern and Southern California competed. Kwon won his singles match over Foothill College to give the team a win over Foothill. With the win, he gave the South the needed 5th point to clinch the Cup and have Hank Pfister's "Hank's Hammer" reside in the south until the next tournament. 

Track and field will head out to compete at Saddleback this weekend (3/25) and tennis will wrap up their regular season at Modesto on Friday (3/25) before going into post season the first week of April.
