Mora Pitches Complete Game to Give the Renegades a Home Win

BAKERSFIELD, CA - In a close contest at Bakersfield, the visiting Reedley Tigers fell short against the Bakersfield College Renegades in a 2-1.

Reedley got on the board first, scoring a run in the top of the third inning with an RBI single.

However, Bakersfield responded in the bottom of the inning, scoring two runs to take the lead. Ben Ullyott delivered an RBI single to tie the game, and a Reedley error allowed another run to score, giving BC a 2-1 lead.

Fortunately, Reedley couldn't muster any more offense against Bakersfield pitcher Jordan Mora, who tossed a complete game, allowing just one run on six hits while striking out five.

In the end, Bakersfield held on to secure the 2-1 victory over Reedley in a game characterized by solid pitching and timely hitting.

With the win, the Renegades move to 7-19 on the season and 4-5 in conference. They will start a three-game series against Glendale College on Tuesday, April 2nd at home.
