Bakersfield Falls to East Los Angeles

EAST LOS ANGELES, CA -In a season marked by streaks, the Bakersfield Renegades lost their second straight game Saturday night falling at East LA College 27-10.

 
Trailing 7-0 in the 1st quarter, kicker Luis Haro missed on a 37 yard field goal attempt. Later, after ELAC lead 17-0 in the 2nd quarter, Haro was successful on a 28-yard field goal and the Renegades trailed 17-3 at the half.
 
After ELAC kicked a field goal in the third quarter, BC sophomore Dylan Tooker forced and recovered a Huskies fumble.  A 13-yard completion from quarterback Joseph Campbell to Dylan Leach gave the Gades a first and goal at the one-yard line. On fourth down, running back Antonio Robinson crashed the goal line for the touchdown. Haro's point after was good and Bakersfield trailed 20-10. That was the last of the scoring for the Renegades in the game. ELAC would score their final touchdown in the game later in the fourth quarter making the final 27-10 Huskies.
 
Heading to next Saturday's regular season finale, every team in the National Northern Conference sports a 2-2 record meaning, there will be a 3-way tie for the conference title at the end of the night.

Saturday's regular season home finale game at Memorial Stadium, versus Allan Hancock, is Military and Veterans Appreciation Night. Gates open at 3:00pm and kickoff starts at 4:00pm.
