BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College men's golf team competed in their second season match at Ridge River Golf Course on Monday. 

This was their first match in Western State conference play. The renegades made a quick worker course and posted a team score of 384. Led by the number six-man, Augustus Page, who posted a career-low of 74. The Reno made a quick statement in the first round of conference play, letting the rest of the conference know that they plan to be a force to be reckoned with. Coach Coble stated, "I'm incredibly proud of these men. They held firm in adversity and made a statement.  Where other coaches thought we played well, I know we have a lot more in the bag and have more to prove."
