Bakersfield College Softball (12-4, 16-15) took a pair from Oxnard College (4-12, 6-21) in odd fashion Tuesday, and the first game featured a lot of scoring...but little hitting from BC!
While the Renegades got a strong start from McKenna Valencia in their 9-0 game 1 win, the "odd" came from how they scored runs.
BC scored their nine runs on just two hits. But they drew 11 walks from Oxnard starter Sabrina Corral, and took advantage of three hit batters as well.
