BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College wrestling program would like to announce the commitment of sophomore Josiah Quiroz to William Jewell College.  

Quiroz will continue his collegiate athletic career on the wrestling team for the Cardinals under the direction of head coach Tom Molony. William Jewell is a Division II program that plays in Great Lakes Valley Conference.

"Josiah was a standout Wrestler for Bakersfield College in his 2018 and 2021 seasons, a leader in the room he is a hard-working and talented wrestler, as well as great student ,having been an Academic All-American and a two-time Dean list recipient. He is an excellent representative of Bakersfield College. We wish him nothing but success."
