Hudson Hartley (5-5) struck out six and scattered six hits over nine innings on his way to a 7-0 shutout over LA Valley in Van Nuys Tuesday afternoon.
The Bakersfield College Baseball team (20-11, 11-5) had more than just excellent pitching working against Valley (17-13, 8-7).
BC exploded for 13 hits, including a two-run homer and an RBI-single from Hanz Harker.
Brooks Douglass went 2-5 with a triple and two runs scored.
Harrison Smith, Jacob Herrera, and Jassen Oliver all had two hits apiece.
BC will host Valley at 3p this Thursday, April 21st at Gerry Collis Field.
BC is tied for second place in the Western State Conference South with five games left to play in the regular season.
