BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College baseball program would like to announce the commitment of sophomore Andrew Townson to California State University of Bakersfield (CSUB). 

Townson will continue his collegiate athletic career on the baseball team for the Roadrunners under the direction of head coach Jeremy Beard. CSUB is a Division I program that plays in The Big West Conference.

Andrew leaves BC having made second-team All-Conference this past year and an honorable mention during his freshman season. During his two years as a Renegade, he appeared in a total of 76 games with a .273 batting average, including 60 runs, 81 hits, three home runs, 43 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases.
