The Bakersfield College Men's basketball team (23-5, 11-2) finished its Conference Title-winning regular season with an 80-72 road win over Santa Monica College (18-9, 7-6) Saturday. 


Nick Velasquez led the Renegades in scoring with 24 points, with five three-pointers. 

Defending Conference Player of the Year Deandre Dickson scored 21 points. 

Lawerence "Bam" Moore was a second half force, scoring 12 points on four second-half three pointers. 

BC was 17 of 20 from the free throw line, while Santa Monica was 6 of 15 from the free throw line. 

The Renegades will find out Monday evening where their first playoff game will be held. 

BC clinched their first solo Western State Conference South title last Wednesday night with a win over West Los Angeles College.
