The Bakersfield College men's Basketball team hasn't been able to buy luck when it comes to close games, and that rough run extended to their loss in the penultimate game in the Santa Barbara Tournament.

BC lost to Grossmont 67-65 in Santa Barbara, their third two-point/last-second loss in the month of December.

Ronald Blain scored 20 points for the Griffins on his way to being named MVP of the tournament, while BC was led by Jaylunn English with 17 points.

The Renegades ran into a hot Grossmont team that has won five of it's last six games, and was playing in it's second consecutive tournament championship game.

BC will play a one-off at Mt. San Antonio College on December 13th before heading to the West Valley Tournament on December 15th.
