The Bakersfield College Men's Basketball Team (13-6) beat Miramar (13-5) 77-69 to advance to the championship game of the Mira Costa Tournament Wednesday.
Jamar Hammonds exploded for a season-high 32 points and 12 rebounds to spur the Renegades to victory.
Hammonds was 13 of 20 shooting from the field, and beat his season-high for scoring by five points in the victory.
BC will play Antelope Valley Thursday for the tournament championship.
