BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Renegades put together their highest-scoring performance of the season on Tuesday night, powering past Victor Valley 108–82 at the Renegade Sport Complex to improve to 6–3 on the year.
Bakersfield's offense was locked in from the opening tip, shooting 48.5% from the field and knocking down 12 three-pointers, while an impressive 32-of-33 at the free-throw line (97%) sealed the dominant win.
Zykiar Henderson led the charge with a standout night, scoring 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting while adding 9 rebounds. Tyron Tyler provided a huge spark off the bench, dropping 16 points, including 4 threes, and securing 5 rebounds. Damari Davis was exceptional at the stripe, going a perfect 11-for-11 on his way to 15 points.
The Renegades showcased their depth with 53 bench points, outmatching Victor Valley in nearly every category, most notably scoring 40 points in the paint and converting 19 points off turnovers.
Bakersfield controlled the game from start to finish, leading 49–37 at halftime before exploding for 59 points in the second half to close out the win in dominant fashion.
The Renegades return to action later this week as they look to continue building momentum heading into December play.
