Renegades Defeat the Condors, 100-88

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield men's basketball team closed out the weekend in strong fashion, using a dominant second half to defeat Oxnard 100–88 on Saturday afternoon at the Renegade Athletic Center.

After a fast-paced first half that saw Oxnard take a slim 50–48 lead into the break, the Renegades flipped the script by outscoring the Condors 52–38 in the second half. Bakersfield's physicality inside and relentless effort on the glass proved to be the difference down the stretch.

Zykiar Henderson delivered a standout performance, leading all scorers with a career night of 39 points on an efficient 15-of-20 shooting. Henderson also controlled the paint with a game-high 16 rebounds to secure a double-double. Zach Garnett added 17 points and seven assists, while Damari Davis provided a spark off the bench with 21 points, knocking down four three-pointers.

Bakersfield dominated the rebounding battle 51–30 and capitalized on second-chance opportunities, outscoring Oxnard 25–7 in that category. The Renegades also held a significant edge in points off turnovers (24–12) and bench scoring (36–22).

With the win, Bakersfield improves to 7–6 on the season and will play at LA Pierce to close out the year on December 30th.
