Seven players are transferring to four year schools.
Seven players are transferring to four year schools.

Coach Rich Hughes knows conference championships don't grow on trees, nor do players like two-time All-State wing Deandre Dickson or All-State point guard Jameik Riviere. But they were just two of six members of the 2015-2016 Western State Conference Championship team that made it to the Sweet Sixteen of the State Championship Tournament.

Dickson will attend NCAA Division II Western Washington University, while Riviere will attend NAIA Life University in Marietta, GA.

Three-point shooting ace Nick Velasquez transferred to Union University in Jackson, Tennessee; Freshman Trey Armstrong has committed to Cal Lutheran, Dequan Green will play at Future University in Carson and Sky Seay is headed to Bethesda University in Orange County, while CJ Johnson is headed to Bethesda University.

The departures will leave big shoes to fill for the 16-17 campaign, but Coaches Hughes and Chavez have proven resourceful when it comes to finding diamonds in the rough during their tenure at BC.
